Cheryl Childress is a proud native of Fort Worth, Texas, and the broker-owner of Cheryl Childress Realtors, LLC—a family-owned firm serving the Dallas-Fort Worth community. She brings a unique blend of experience as an educator and real estate professional, offering her clients both guidance and education throughout the home buying and selling journey.
With a background in elementary education, Cheryl spent many years teaching young students before transitioning into real estate. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at Collin College in Frisco, Texas, where she teaches Real Estate courses and mentors aspiring professionals in the field.
Cheryl believes that her years in the classroom have deeply enriched her ability to serve clients in real estate. She treats every transaction as a teaching moment, ensuring her clients understand the ABCs and 123s of buying or selling a home. Her goal is not just to close deals—but to empower clients with knowledge every step of the way.
Currently, Cheryl is pursuing a doctoral degree in Leadership, further deepening her ability to lead, educate, and inspire those she works with.
In addition to her real estate and academic work, Cheryl is also the author of the children’s book Why I Hate School, reflecting her ongoing passion for education and communication.

D’Marcicus is a proud native of Dallas, Texas, with over two decades of expertise in the HVAC industry. After graduating high school, he proudly served in the United States Navy, where he worked as an air conditioning mechanic aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. His service instilled in him a strong work ethic, technical discipline, and a commitment to excellence.
Following his military service, D’Marcicus continued building his career in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). He worked in corporate America with Lennox Industries, where he led operations in the Quality Department. With over 23 years of hands-on experience, his passion for HVAC eventually led him to become the owner and operator of Five Star Heating & Air Conditioning, a trusted name in residential and commercial services across the DFW area.
D’Marcicus also gives back to the industry by serving as an adjunct professor at Collin College in Frisco, Texas, where he teaches HVAC courses and mentors the next generation of technicians.
Currently, D’Marcicus is pursuing a doctoral degree in Leadership, further enhancing his ability to lead teams, train professionals, and make a lasting impact in his field.
